Dwight Yoakum has a new album coming out this year. He just released this single as, hopefully, a taste of what’s to come. Creedence covers have got to be tough to pull off because EVERYONE knows the originals like it’s part of their DNA. (Although M. Ward does a really great “Green River.”)
Dwight is a little better known as an actor these days, which is a shame, because he’s never put out an album I don’t like and his last one, “3 Pears” was one of my favorites that year.
